Welcome back to Michaela! We are so fortunate to have Michaela come back to Bayfield and join us in the Titoki Team as the new Titoki Iti teacher.
Hello to Mareike! Mareike is working in Titoki Iti as a student teacher from Germany. Mareike is volunteering for the whole term and we are very lucky to have her with us!
Kia Ora to Jack Maling who joined Titoki last term.
Welcome to the Titoki Iti children who have joined us:
Millie Wesley, Boston Knaggs, Samuel Sharpe, James King, Joseph St Clare, Alexandra Martin, Amelia Martin, Tom Sanderson, Sofia de Court Long, Hugo Dean, Emmeline Anderson
Thank you to the parents that helped with our trip to Tom’s Marvellous Imagination. We had such a great time watching the show and being immersed in the special stories. We also loved meeting the actors and actresses after the show! What a great start to the term.
This Friday, children can come to school dressed up as their favourite book character. This year we will have a house day as well as a special picnic where the children will eat their lunches on the field with their buddy reading class. We will also have a junior school parade to show off all our amazing costumes!
After Book Bonanza we are going to be focusing our inquiry on ‘What Makes a Perfect Playground’. This will encompass both physical and emotional aspects of the playground. We think this will be a great way to end the year as we can talk about evolving friendships, improve our playground and even get ‘hands on’ with creating new playground equipment.
Just another reminder that hats are now compulsory with our warmer, sunnier weather. We do enforce the rule of No Hat, No Play.
