Welcome to the Titoki Team 2018. We are so excited to get underway with learning and have loved meeting our new children, as well as catching up with our “old” families.
Meet the Team
Thanks to everyone who came along to our Meet the Team night. We hope it was beneficial and helped families new to Bayfield to feel connected. We are looking forward to getting to know your children as learners and individuals as the year progresses. As we are a collaborative team, please feel free to chat to or email any one of us teachers with questions, queries or issues. We are more than happy to help.J
Louised@bayfield.school.nz, email@example.com firstname.lastname@example.org, Michaelap@bayfield.school.nz,
We love parent help in Titoki Team! There is a roster on the middle door of our space. If you would like to help, please write your name in the timeslots available. If you would like to help and can’t make the times available, we like help before and after school. Putting away readers is also hugely appreciated.
It’s great to get to know new friends and families in our team and organising playdates is a great way to build friendships outside the classroom and school environment. If you would like to have your name and contact number available for other parents to arrange playdates we have a ‘Playdate Hub’ up in our space on the door right next to the parent help roster.
Things To Remember
With this hot, sticky weather, children need to have a named drink bottle in their schoolbag.
Brain Break: Small piece of fruit or veg cut up so it is easy for the children to eat.
Toys; Please keep toys at home because if they get lost or broken it causes unnecessary upset.
Hats: All children must have a named hat at school. All items of clothing need to be named as the children are learning how to be responsible for their belongings.
Any un-named items will be put
into our lost property box in our space.
During Fabulous Friday we love to put out some boxes for box modelling.
If you have any spare boxes around the house we would love them! (long roll tubes, muesli boxes, pod boxes etc. Please no plastic or toilet paper rolls).
Louise, Kate, Ashleigh and Michaela.
