Titoki Team 0/1 - Term 2 week 8 ending 22 June 2018

A special welcome to our new children in Titoki iti:  Kevinah, Asher, Tobias, Ruben and Leo Can you believe we only have two weeks left of Term 2!?
What a busy term it has been.

Hammertime
The event of the year is almost here! If you have yet to buy your tickets don’t delay. You can purchase these from Kindo for $70pp. We look forward to seeing you all there.

Jammies in June

A huge thank you to all of those who donated PJs and gold coins for an amazing cause it is hugely appreciated. The children had an awesome house day in their PJs. Perhaps the highlight of this was having to make the bed really quickly!

Scooter Fridays
Yes Scooter Friday is every Friday during morning tea time. It is held on the bottom courts. Children MUST wear their helmet or they can’t ride. J The older children have a wonderful course set up for the children to practice their skills at scootering.

Team Trip!

In Week 10, Titoki and Titoki Iti are heading out on their first trip for the year… A Martariki puppet show . The trip is on Monday July 2. We will be travelling by bus to the Rose Centre on the North Shore, leaving school at around 9:30am and will be returning back to school in time for lunch. We would love parent help! This will be done on first in first served basis.

If you are available to parent help, please email Louise at louised@bayfield.school.nz.  Please keep in mind that unfortunately we are unable to take younger siblings with us.

Lost Property
Our lost property appears to grow each day, please ensure all of your childs clothing is named, especially with this cold weather and children taking layers on and off. All lost property left over at the end of the term will be donated to charity.

Holiday Reading and Writing Challenge!
During the last week of school for this term we will be sending home a ‘Reading Challenge’ and a ‘Writing Challenge’. The reading challenge will be the same as last school holidays and the writing challenge is something new. To go in the draw for the writing challenge, children need to write a minimum of x3 and maximum of x5 short stories over the two weeks (these don’t need to be long).

PMP Term 3
Thanks to those wonderful parents who helped out this term we could not do it with out you. Thinking ahead to term 3, we will need parent help again. If this is something you could help out with please email Michaela or Kate. Times to be confirmed. J

Many thanks,
Michaela, Kate, Ashleigh and Louise.
